EVELYN CONNER

Evelyn Conner is a Southern Gospel Concert and Recording Artist from Salem, Virginia. She has served as director of Appalachian Power’s Employee Chorus; Music Director for the Daleville Church of the Brethren, Daleville, Virginia and Director of a ladies ensemble, “Rejoice”. She is presently serving as Interim Music Director at the Bethel Baptist Church in Salem and has recently formed a “Handbell Choir“.

Evelyn and her husband, Mike, began Evelyn Conner Ministries in 1989 when they felt that God was calling them to become witnesses through testimony and song. For sixteen years, they have been presenting Gospel Music Concerts in Churches all up and down the East Coast and as far west as Mississippi, working as a team . . . with  Mike engineering the sound.

 Their ministry can serve as a useful evangelism tool. Evelyn sings various styles of gospel music in an effort to minister to all age groups and has interspersed testimony, monologues and skits into her concerts as well as audience participation in an effort to win others to Christ and bring about revival and rededication.

 They do not charge a fee; however, most Churches will receive a love offering to help defray the costs associated with this type of ministry.
